Hi there, the account allows you to log into save recipes. We don’t currently have a way to have an ad-free subscription, as that’s a bit of technical hurdle on our end. We will look into it!

It looks like you don’t offer a monthly subscription plan like some other cooking websites. There is what must be an AI generated site which suggests otherwise, but having created an account, I don’t see a way to manage a subscription.

I too find the ads very irritating, while I understand the need to generate income. Am I missing the subscription option on my newly created account? Is this something you have considered doing and discarded? Something in future plans? Thx.

Hi Edward, we understand the frustration! The four of us work on this website full-time, and we want to keep the information we share free for all to use rather than behind a paywall. So the way for us to support our family in continuing to work on the recipes, YouTube channel, and articles is through advertising on the site. If it’s any consolation, believe it or not we actually keep our ad density well below our peers to try and balance user experience and making a living! The prompt to provide an email address before printing a recipe gives users the option to subscribe to our email newsletter so we can continue building our community and keep The Woks of Life going. I hope you understand our situation too!
