Made this for the first time tonight. Tasted great though the addition of a little ‘Maggi’ sauce added to the flavour. Our food processor grated the carrots rather too finely – I’ll use a traditional hand grater next time. Thank you for the recipe.

I was looking forward to making this recipe after I tried the Egg Roll in a Bowl recipe (which was delicious). The family didn’t like this one – it was too dry and bland. We ended up adding hoisin sauce which helped amp up the flavor, and some water for moisture.

You definitely could! From pork to tofu is a big departure though, so it will of course taste more vegetal. But you could try prepping the tofu as we do with our air fryer tofu recipe then mix it into the cooked carrots. https://thewoksoflife.com/air-fryer-tofu/ That will give it a nice flavor!
