Thank you, this recipe blew me away. I’ve made many recipes from your site, and I had all the ingredients for this so thought why not, I’ll give it a try. I was skeptical at first, but the tender yet crispy ground beef nuggets and the perfect sauce was UNREAL. My wife loved it too. Thank you thank you!

WINNER!!!!! This really works just as described. The ground beef was delicious and had the crispy edges, but THE SAUCE IS INCREDIBLE. I can imagine a number of other uses for this sauce. Checked out the original Mongolian Beef recipe and confirmed sauce ingredients are the same, so now I’ve got to try the original recipe. Thank you!

this was even more delicious than the original Mongolian beef! It’s on our new favorites list now! The texture of the ground beef tossed in cornstarch made a delicious crust in the fabulous sauce!

Made this recipe last night. I turned it into lettuce wraps with white rice. Wonderful dish, easy to make. I will be making again in the near future.

Really easy, very delicious! Served on buckwheat noodles with zucchini on the side. A lovely way to jazz up minced beef and a nifty substitution for the more expensive cuts called for in some recipes. This is going to be enjoyed frequently in our house.

I just made the shortcut Mongolian beef. I suggest that you specify lean ground beef. I used wagu beef which was too fatty when cooked. I drained it before adding the next ingredients and it turned out great. However, if I had not drained it, the chunks would be floating in too much sauce.
