This is one of my favorite Chinese noodle dishes – thanks for sharing. Although it is obvious from the pictures that the pork belly is sliced, it would be helpful to specify this in the instructions.

You don’t need fresh noodles. Pre cooked noodles that are a little undercooked worked exactly the same.

Hi Sharon, you can cook the same way if using napa cabbage, but just know that napa cabbage produces a lot of liquid, so adjust the liquid as needed to avoid it turning into a noodle soup :-) Also, this dish is not as good as a leftover (but still tasty) as the noodle will turn too soft and mushy like the overnight spaghetti.
